Why is a lens necessary?
The cameras employed in machine vision systems are supplied without a lens, because the application determines which type of lens is required. (The only exception here is for a number of smart cameras). The choice of lens depends on the camera used, sensor and the required focal length. A logical rule of thumb is: the more details you would like to see, the higher the quality of camera, sensor and lens.

There are lots of suppliers of lenses. We supply various A brands like: Fujinon, Kowa, HIKROBOT, Goyo, Computar, Ricoh, Bluevision and Basler. These are brands that provide targeted advice, reliable quality and strong support.
