How does a 1D or 2D scanner work?
1D scanners are employed for scanning bar codes. 2D scanners are employed for QR codes or data matrix codes. The possibilities for utilising both scanners are almost infinite. An important feature – and a major benefit – of both 1D and 2D codes is that they can be read very rapidly by a computer. The scanners in machine vision systems are always to be found in a fixed position in the system. In other words: they are not hand-held scanners.
1D and 2D scanners from Zebra
We are the primary dealer for Zebra Machine Vision | Fixed Industrial Scanners. These scanners simplify following items that have been provided with a bar code. An important benefit that Zebra offers here, is the smart additional software. The Deep Learning Optical Character Recognition (DL-OCR) is a technology for reading text information, without pre-programming letter types. This advanced technology ensures that the system works smoothly and saves a lot of time and money.
1D and 2D scanners: advice and support
Our engineers have extensive knowledge of our products and experience with various combinations and applications. We can also organise a demo of various products and systems for you. With custom advice, we ensure that the scanner camera delivers the required results. If, after purchase, you encounter issues in practice, our support department will find a suitable solution.
