CHECK YOUR FILTER 4DGS-TOOL

We recognize the questions that we often receive from the market :
‘Do I need to replace my DGS-filter?’ or ‘Should I replace my filter in my DGS-system?’

Therefore DVC Machinevision b.v. created a simple tool to check your DGS-filter.

We call it the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool. and we  will explain it in more detail on this landingpage.

 Working Instructions

Our tool is very easy to use, just make sure you follow below instructions carefully to guarantee a good test result.

Step 1.
When you receive the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool, simply  hold the filter-tool at the DVC logo:  

 STEP 2.

You take the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool in one hand and hold it approximately 10-30 cm in front of your filterthat is mounted in your DGS-system. You will see one of the following effects:

1). The color in the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool turns black:

CONCLUSION: your filter is OK!! Your filter is OK and you don't need to replace it.
2). You see no color change between your filter and the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool, as in the image below:

STEP 3. 

Turn the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool 90 degrees to the left:

Look at the result . You will see one of the following effects:

1). The color in the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool   turns black.
CONCLUSION: your filter is OK!! Your filter is OK and you don't need to replace it.

2). The result in the filtertool is again transparent :

How do I get this filter tool?
Please contact your local MEYN sales manager to acquire the CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool. The tool is free of charge ! Just make sure you send a complete delivery address together with your FEDEX or UPS account number for shipping.  

How can I get a replacement filter?
If the outcome of your CheckYourFilter4DGS-tool is negative, you need a new filter for your DGS.  Please contact your local MEYN Sales Manager to order a replacement filter.
